Melkam Addis Amet: Happy Ethiopian New Year

Tomorrow (Sept. 11th, 2010) is Ethiopian New Year. Many of you are probably thinking, "huh?", well this is because Ethiopia uses the Caesarian calendar which falls on 9/11 on the Gregorian calendar.



Anyways for those of you who want to experience a unique culture come visit us at Christy Station for the Ethiopian New Year festivities and help support our church, St. Mary's Ethiopian Orthodox Church, by giving a donation.
