{Cadies & Kisses} Fast Five Movie Review

Last night Tia and I went to go see Fast Five. Though, I have to admit, that at first that I was skeptical to see the movie (because of Tokyo Drift) I was also excited. From the trailers I had seen I knew that the graphics and stunts would be AMAZE!

So with popcorn and hotdogs in hand, Tia and I sat down for what could be the best action movie of the year. I was at the edge of my seat the entire movie. I mean, when you put hotties like Tyrese, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel together, how could you not be at the edge of your seat. But even without the hotties the movie was fantastic. They truly brought their A game when it came to this film.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson had me dying with his witty one liners and please when watching this movie, notice that regardless of what is going on he is always oiled up or sweaty. :p

Definitely a hit with us!!!!

{Candies & Kisses} Red Riding Hood Review

This past Wednesday, I had the opportunity to go to the pre-screening of Red Riding Hood as well as meet the director, Catherine Hardwicke (who also directed the first Twilight film and Thirteen). Let me just start off by saying that the film is crazy good.

What you would think would be the story line, isnt. There lots of twists and turns and an outcome that I definitelty didnt see coming. And just the way the film was made is captivating. Amanda Seyfried s spell binding and really fits the part and of course the guys are GORG.

I would recommend everyone go see the film!!!

{Candies & Kisses} The Next Three Days

I am a huge fan of action-thriller movies and The Next Three Days is just that. I was real excited to see this movie, hoping it wouldn't disappoint. And really it didn't. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time wondering how John, Russell Crow's character,would get his wife out of prison.

I enjoyed the little twist at the end of the movie when we find out if his wife had done the crime she was put away for, but I don't want to say too much. It wasnt the best action film I have ever seen, but it did leave me satisfied at the end of it all. And I am glad to say I felt happy at the end of the movie, because as of late I have been watching movies where the ending is dreadful and leaves me confused or hanging, but this didn't do that.

Definitely a must see.

Movie Review: Frozen

I don't know if many of you have watched, "Open Water" and "Open Water 2: Adrift," but this has the same idea. Basically, what it is is a movie that sets you up in scary REALISTIC situations. In this case three friends get trapped on a ski lift. So you think so what, they will be found the next day. Well nope, this is a weekend place so they will have to wait it out for the week...in the winter...during a storm.

WTF, right?! I know. This movie reminded me of a book I could not put down. I ignored everything and everyone (including cleaning the house). So yup I definitely recommend this movie, I don't recommend going to a ski resort and staying till dark, leave when it's day time...just to be on the safe side.

Movie Review: The Switch

I was so excited for this movie, let alone this movie, anything Jennifer Aniston. So the movie is about a  woman who wants to get pregnant through a sperm donor. Her best friend who happens to be a guy volunteers, but she declines. She eventually finds the donor and well a switch happens, between his and the bff's.

And after that it's basically the bff trying to tell Jen that he is the father.....but of course weird stuff happens during the course of the time.


Didnt really like the movie as much as I thought I would. I was a little confused, because if it was supposed to be romantic comedy I didnt see the comedy aspect of it. It was a little bland and lacked any "umph". Dont get me wron though, it was not as bad as the back up plan.

Movie Review: Step Up 3D

So here we go with another Step Up movie... luckily I love dance flicks (since I have been doing ballet since I was 4), but I probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise. However, the dancing and the 3D was superb. The story line is pretty much the same as the other two, a storey of the underdog, betrayal, redemption, love, and of course dance.

The only thing that has changed is the characters, the setting, and the music. So I give the movie 2 out of 5.

Oprah's Biopic Has Been Announced!

Many of us females find inspiration from Miss Oprah Winfrey, she is educates, articulate, passionate, and successful. Just as many of us are inspired by her, we are sad to see her talk show go. But before we shed another tear know that is has been scheduled that a biopic is set to be release the same month her show goes off the air.

Instlye mag has reported that the producer, Larry  A. Thompson, is to have the starring role be played by a no name actress. So look out for September 2011 to this flick that eveyone should and will go see.

Movie Review: Twilight Eclipse

Im a die hard Twilight fan, so of course you know the day Eclipse came out, June 30th, I was at the theatre getting my fix...

Eclipse was great...I cant get enough of Twilight and if you havent seen it yet..u need to. Great movie, big surprises, and great acting. I am not going to  say anymore because I feel anything else would help give away the story.

Movie Review: Knight and Day

Last night I hadd the pleasure of watching Knight and Day...and I must say it was a FANTASTIC movie! Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise have great chemistry on the film and they are both hilarious! The movie had some twists and turns that kept you wanting more!

The only problem I really had was the ending, but it still did not over rule the fact that movie was great! And the movie was just long enough. I hate when I go into a movie and it's sooo long you just want to die or it is too short and ur like "wtf did I just pay to see that." This was perfect.

The movie was suspensful, witty, romantic, and fun all at the same time. It was like a mixture of Mission Impossible mixed with Bad Boys, and There is something about Mary all in one. So I have to say EVERYONE needs to watch this movie. I give it "The Doll Snap of Approval!"

Movie Review: Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time

I think I may be one of the biggest eclectic movie watchers...EVER. LOL. Seriously I love watching all movies. But I have to admit I favour movies that take place back in time, but have that magical touch to it, i.e. Lord Of The Rings, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Clash Of The Titans. So of course I was immediately drawn to The Prince Of Persia.

The story line is fantastic and the actors are gorgeous. It is a story of love, adventure, betrayal and loyalty. I am hoping there will be a sequel (just as good). So if  you like Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, and The Mummy, you will love this movie.

So head to your nearest theatre and watch it!

Dey's Review On: The Back Up Plan

So I watched the movie The Back Up Plan today... and well let me put it this way dont even watch it when it comes out on dvd. The acting was very cheesy, to say the least and the story line was,"ehhh."

The only thing I can really say is, if you are anything like me, no matter how many reviews you read or hear or how many people tell you how the movie is, I would just go watch it myself. Everyone has different opinions. J.LO, though very beautiful, not the best actress, same with the leading male actor in the movie. Yeha, you know how it is going to end (it is a romantic comedy after all), but I can the course of the movie may not be what you expect. So in that regards the director did good.

So if you really want to watch this movie, let me at least save you some money and please just CLICK HERE to watch. It's great quality and something you can do when the weather decides to be bipolar again.

Why Did I Get Married Too?

If you were only going to see the movie because it's a Tyler Perry movie, you should think again. You need to go see the movie because of the wonderful cast as well as the wonderful story line.

There were a lot of moments throughout the film where I thought one thing was going to happen and it didnt, something bigger, funnier, and any more different then what I had expected, would happen.

There was no part in the movie that I thought was boring, it was all in all phenomenal! And dont get me started on Janet Jackson...she was incredible, so realistic. She is probably one of the few musicians that could actually act, I mean I dont know if all the emotion came from Micheal's suddens passing, but whatever it may have been she need not stop.

So dolls, if you are asking me, "Do I think you should go see it?" Then simply my answer to you is "hell yeah". What are you still doing hear reading this? You should've been checking showtimes 4 paragraphs ago!

Twilight Saga: Eclipse

This Friday: ALICE IN WONDERLAND

I dont know about you guys, but Friday is the day I am looking forward to. Yes it is Friday, the start of the weekend, but for me the reason to be excited is because of ALICE IN WONDERLAND!!


I am so excited to see Johnny Depp. I have heard only good things about the movie so make sure to watch out for my synopsis this weekend!
