The Church Breaks Ground.... Literally!

  This Sunday was a special Sunday, after years of hard work finally the day has come.  Proud and very glad to say, today was the day of laying the foundation stone for the construction of our new church.  This project took about 11 years to tackle, from funding issues, to community attacks, to landing rights, it almost seemed impossible.

What the new church will look like

  I was 9 when me and my family made our usual weekly visits to the church that I saw this monogram of a new church, it was framed in a plastic cube, beautifully designed by one of our architects. I was so excited and so was everyone else, not knowing all the issues to come ahead.  We absolutely needed a bigger church as our congregation kept growing, it became more and more difficult to celebrate religious holidays, being that we have over 5 thousand church members.

  The project all together costs roughly about 4.2 million dollars and extra fees, after many years of fundraising, like yesterday nights dinner and donations from various places we have made 1.2 million to start this project.  So excited and happy for the congregation thus far, today we cut the ruby red rope and started the digging.
