I used to admire beautiful furs till I read one day about how people obtain the fur. However, even then the truth of the matter was not real to me. I had to come across a video on youtube of actual footage in order to come to my senses. Mind you I have alway loved animals, but after watching the video I could not believe I had even called myself an animal lover because I LIKED furs.
Animals are not treared humanely in China, where most of the designers buy their furs. They are skinned alive, beaten, and cruely treated. After watching the following video I thought it was time for a change.
But I have found hope in the world after visiting the PETA website. There I found those "fabulous people" who I thought wore fur campaigning against fur. It was inspiring to see that they " Would Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur."

We need to realize that there are alternatives to wear fur, like faux fur. And as much as we may not want to wear anything "fake" those animals that die for the coat u wear once in awhile are very much real and WERE very much alive.
As dolls we have to practice being humane... rather than being so vain that we would kill for something so... well stupid, for a lack of better words. And you may be thinking well I'll but fur from designers and companies that don't buy from sellers who are cruel, well NEWS FLASH! Killing an animal to wear a coat is INHUMANE!!! Think about wearing your dog, you wouldnt so why wear a poor fox, or bunny.
